Follow up visit was conducted on September 30 , 2020 by officers of Discover
Dominica Authority and Environmental Health Department to ascertain if measures established in the COVID19 Action plan submitted by the accommodation and recommendation upon initial assessment are adhered to.

The government of Dominica granted concessions to Double Dragon Trading Ltd. Under the Hotels Aid Ac Chapter 85:04 for the operation of the hotel (Riverside Hotel and Restaurant) in Picard, Portsmouth. Prior to Hurricane Maria, Double Dragon Trading Ltd., successfully provided accommodation services to the students of the Ross University School of Medicine (RUSM).
The three-storey building apartment facility located in Picard contained 14 single units with restaurant and reception area on the ground floor, and employed twenty-five (25) persons.
Having sustained severe damage from hurricane Maria, along with the loss of the Medical School, the promoter decided to rethink his offering to the public and approached Invest Dominica Authority (IDA), for assistance in reapplying for concessions for reclassification, upgrade and renovations of his facility in Portsmouth.
The promotor, Mr. Li Tao Jiang “Steven” was encouraged to utilize the 2% Special Tourism Loan with resources form Citizenship by Investment Program (GBIP) The execution of this special facility requires the AID Bank to collaborate with Invest Dominica Authority (IDA – for the certification of the properties, the owners of which have expressed an interest in accessing these funds.
IDA is pleased to announce the Double Dragon Trading Ltd. Successfully completed all upgrade and renovation works.
